About ensō

The ensō symbol is sacred in Buddhism. The empty space within the circle can be interpreted in different ways depending on the perspective of the observer. Some may see presence, or others, absence; similar to the concept of a glass being half full or half empty. The ensō circle is often seen as a symbol of connection, cooperation, acceptance, strength, and the pursuit of personal growth.

In our version of the ensō symbol, the white space inside the circle forms a comma, to signify taking pause, as well as a quotation mark, to represent communication.
